• 1. Power off the fiber optic devices that the SFP transceiver modules will be installed in.
  2. If necessary, disconnect the fiber cabling from the existing SFP transceiver modules.
  3. Remove the existing SFP transceiver modules from the devices.
  4. Install the TL-1GSFP-MM550 transceiver modules in the devices.
  5. Connect the fiber cabling to the TL-1GSFP-MM550 transceiver modules.
  6. Power on the fiber optic devices.
  7. Brilliant!

  Are these modules compatible with other devices or do they have to be used with TechLogix equipment?

  The TL-1GSFP-MM550 can be used with other equipment, provided it’s compatible with a 1GBASE-SX SFP 850nm transceiver.   These transceivers have been tested with network equipment such as Cisco, Arista, Juniper, Dell, Brocade and other brands. However, TechLogix can only warrant performance with compatible TechLogix devices and is not responsible for damage caused by improper installation.
